CTC Program Integrates American Hotel & Lodging Association Certifications
The Tourism and Hospitality industries are multi-dimensional, and demand that professionals are constantly up-to-date with issues and trends that are happening all around the world. For this reason, Canadian Tourism College focuses on helping students grasp the ins-and-outs of these industries on a global scale.
Part of this focus is dedicated to preparing students to make the transition from student-life to professional-life in whichever country they choose to work in. Launching a career can be difficult for everyone, which is why Canadian Tourism College has made it a priority to ensure that graduates are equipped with the knowledge and skills needed to become industry leaders.
To make the domestic and international career-hunt easier, CTC has designed their Hospitality Diploma Programs in such a way that students will earn international certifications as they complete the required program courses. So, when students graduate, they will not only move forward with a CTC diploma, but also with six American Hotel & Lodging Association (AH&LA) Certificates in Hospitality Supervision, Hospitality Industry Computers, Front Office Procedures, Housekeeping Management, Hospitality Security and Loss Prevention, and Rooms Division Specialization.
The AH&LA is recognized globally as a premier source of hospitality certification, meaning CTC Hospitality and Tourism Management graduates will walk away with accreditation from two distinct and prominent institutions. This gives CTC graduates an international edge that is so vital in the Tourism and Hospitality industry.
Canadian Tourism College offers more than just scholarly recognition. When students enroll in one of our programs, they can expect an educational experience that fuses academia with a current and realistic overview of the tourism industry as a whole.
