Flight Attendant Job Duties:
Flight attendants generally work sixty-five to ninety hours of flying time and up to fifty hours of ground duty per month, and are given fifteen or more days off every month. Flight Attendant jobs duties may include:
- Ensure presence and working condition of first-aid kids and emergency equipment
- Assess food, beverage, and blanket supplies
- Greet passengers
- Instruct passengers in the use of emergency equipment
- Check to see that seat belts are fastened, seats are in the upright position, and bags are properly stowed
- Distribute blankets, pillows, reading material, beverages, snacks, and meals
- Assist those in need: small children, or elderly or disabled passengers
- Administer first aid
