Why did you choose to take your program at CTC?
I saw that CTC could prepare me for the hotel industry and I heard a lot of good reviews. A family friend actually recommended the school to me.
What was the most beneficial part of your training?
Organizational Behaviour, Front Office Management, Business Communication and Career Development classes.
Where are you working now? How did CTC prepare you for this career?
I will start at Sheraton Vancouver Wall Centre as a Guest Services Agent/Front Desk Agent in October. CTC provided the exposure and knowledge about the industry as well as interviewing skills that helped me to pass the 3 rounds of interviews at Sheraton.
What did you like about your instructor(s)?
They were super nice, very supportive and absolutely knowledgeable.
Tell us a bit about your day to day work life
I will be checking in/out the guests, handling cash, balancing accounts, generating reports as well as responding to guests request.
Would you recommend CTC to others? Why?
I definitely recommend CTC to others because I found it was a great place to get ready for the industry in the shortest time. The curriculum is very practical and workplace related, the instructors are amazing and the lessons we received were super helpful.
