Before You Leave Home
Checklist to help you plan
You have many things to remember when you are packing for your trip. When entering Canada you will go through Canada Customs and it is imperative you are prepared with all documents supporting your studying, accommodation and self-isolation plans as Canada Border Services Agency (CBSA) may ask for those.
Please remember that you will also be required to complete the quarantine plan before arriving into Canada. The form to the plan can be viewed below:
Preparing for your Accommodation
CTC has secured socially distant accommodation for all students arriving in Canada in accordance with Public Health guidelines. Students have the option of choosing to stay with a CTC homestay family or at an airport hotel in Vancouver. As an institution owned and operated by the International Language Academy of Canada (ILAC), students may request accommodation services through ILAC’s Accommodation Department. Upon arrival in Canada, all international students will be required to self-isolate for 14 days, as per government regulations.
